Creative Practice: Return to Fort Amherst

On Thursday we had to make a hastily planned trip back to the fort in order to take more photo's before they close it off for a Halloween party. At the meeting on Tuesday it was decided that our event is going to be based on Hans Christian Andersen's 'The Little Match Girl'. With story decided it was obvious that one trip to the Fort wasn't going to cut it. If there's an important thing I've learned so far it's that 1. Decide venue early and 2. Know your venue inside out. In fact it seems everytime you go back to the various rooms within the tunnels and Fort Amherst you discover something new about them; more nooks, hooks on the wall, blindspots and so on. They do say it's haunted and the way these small just suddenly things pop out does makes me think the Tunnel has a life of it's own.

I've used an old school trip map given to me to help plot out the various mini-locations in the tunnel that we could potentially use.
