Major Project: Studio scene 1

Lighting is placeholder and the windows will be changed to a traditional sash style frame. I like the grandeur of it so far. A lot of work needs to be done in order to evoke a more Victorian space. Progress is steady at the moment and this scene is absolutely key because it will dictate how the rest of the 3D interiors will look in terms of stylisation. Once I nail this scene, the rest should follow at a much quicker pace.

Hey Tom - working to the ratio of your screen (as opposed to simply putting a 'window' on your world), is a good decision - and already, from this glimpse, it's clear how exciting it's going to make things. Just ensure that your able to 'distill' the era through a careful selection of signifiers; but you're right, once you've figured out the limitations of your visual concept, you'll speed up. At least, you better had! :D

Oh - I've just sent your Masters reference off to the 'powers that be'...
