Hey Tom...

Not going to say too much on here - suffice to say I think you've created a very atmospheric and distinctive piece. I do have a 'but' though - and it's a very realisable 'but' - you have the time now to try a number of alternate edits, and I think some of the cross-dissolve transitions are too soft; the music, for instance, is much 'choppier' and hard-edged - more staccato and not 'poetic' in the cross-dissolve sense; I encourage you to try a 'hard edit' only approach - and a yet more 'cut-up' strategy; instead of 'layering' imagery, collide them - insert quick snatches into long pans; there's a violence and agitation expressed by the music that is at odds with the softness and politeness of some of those dissolves; for instance, the way the text comes in at the end is great - bang! - I just feel the tone of the animation would benefit from a non-cross dissolve policy and similar confidence in terms of juxtaposition - try it and see: it may not be the case at all and you can stick to your guns but like I said, you've got the time to really get this post-production bit right. I think there's another few edits after this one...
