Transcription: A thing with a bump map on it

Added a bump map to a concept image I produced a while back. I also sculpted the plane a little in order to give it a more heightened 3D effect. Ambient and point light added for good measure.

despite your characteristic nonchalance (i.e general air of put-upon sarkiness...) this is looking very interesting indeed - now let's see what happens when you start wrapping objects/forms in 'Begness', and then letting cameras move across their surfaces, lighting changes etc - the more threatrical and broad the better as this stage - also, and this is key - be sure to keep a very detailed account of what you're doing - like a science project - you're creating data and strategies for making new in-roads into the software - don't lose track of your attempts - so you can repeat them if necessary...

oh yeah - you may want to look at this guy shigeo fukada (who creates 3d sculptures that coalesce into recognisable forms from a particular pov) and also
http://www.varini.org/

It may be a way to reconcile abstract spaces/landscapes motifs in key objects/icons in a 'time-based' camera tracking way?
